Can't spill the beans just yet but it is gonna be BIG!! So now you will have to check every day to see when I announce this exciting news!!
I will leave you tonight with a picture of our newest family member. This is Jeremiah, the new son of my neice Sheila. He is a handsome little thing!

Sorry I haven't been around!!

Wow, it sure has been a while since I posted anything! Well I haven't designed anything in a while. I have been really lazy here lately. Laying around, reading books! I have been getting stuff together for the Girl Scout Day Camp. I will be leading the boys this year and I have a lot of fun stuff planned! I have enlisted the help of my 12 year old son. I enjoy spending time with him planning everything. He said he is the Vice President of Day Camp!! Then he called me the other day from his Dad's and asked if he could skip Day Camp because his Dad signed him up for basketball. He LOVES BB so I couldn't say no. But I was a bit heartbroken because this was something that was allowing us to spend one on one time together. We very rarely get to. But who knows, maybe the schedules will work out that he can do both!! I did design a t-shirt for the boys but it is in svg form so I don't know how I can put it on here. But I will takes pics when the boys airbrush them and post them! Well, that is all of the blubbering I am going to do for now so have a great day everyone and keep on creating!!

More and More Mats!!

I am having a ball creating these mats for Fat Cats! I made a couple more of the red and white ones and a couple of these ones. It is great that with todays technology I can just snap a picture of it and show it to the world in a matter of min. Also, I don't have to get into my car with expired tags to run over and show my Mom! I have to pass everything by her first!

Fishing Fun

This is a sample of one of the Photo Mats that I am making to sell at the lake. I got the title from MTC free SVG's and just welded the shadow to a corner rectangle in red cardstock. I cut the letters out in white cardstock, added some fishing paper and my photo! (All of the said cuts were done with my Cricut and Make The Cut software.)

And the other one I made for Dan, the owner of Fat Cats. I hope he likes it! It actually started out as another mat but I sort of messed up so that is how Dan got his. I just used Bazzil green cardstock for the base, embossed the letters with gold embossing powder from Stamping Up and added some stickers from my stash. The photo is of the newly built and long awaited bait house.

Copic Card

This is a card that I made using the following Stampabilities stamps, Moe Monkey-Tori Tiger-Ellie Elephant-Leo Lion. They are 50% off at Hobby Lobby this week. I colored my stamped images with Copic Markers. I forgot to write down which ones I used!! The paper that I stamped on is Bazzil from Pizzaz It. I find this to be the best paper for Copics. Everyone is different but there is no "bleeding" outside of the lines with this paper so it is much easier to use. The card itself is just some white cardstock from my stash as is the brown ribbon. The paper that I matted the images on is Dark Brown Polka Dots from My Minds Eye. This was also on sale at Hobby Lobby this week. In hindsight I would have liked to have ran the brown paper through my Cuttlebug with the dot folder and used a different color of ribbon. I hope you enjoy my card!

Well, OK

I was just reading through my blog and noticed that I almost always start with Well or Ok!! So I will just have to be a little more careful and try to be a little more creative with my words!
So! I LOVE to go fishing for "big" cats. (That is big catfish) And for the past three years I have been going with my husband to Fat Cats Pay Lake in Grove City, Ohio. I have SOOO much fun there fishing with my husband and kids. In fact, I have such a good time that I design the web site and all of the flyers, business cards, ads, tickets, etc. Here is the link to the website, http://www.fatcatspaylake.com
Go on over and check it out. Heck, come on out and fish with us! Here is a little craft that I did for one of my friends that has been catching some monsters lately! Let me know what you think!!

ScrapbookPal.com

OK, so I ordered from http://www.scrapbookpal.com/ because my Mom told me how cheap the Cats Eyes are and that the shipping was free if I spent $25.00. There prices are truly amazing! I spent a little less than $30.00 and got an assortment of 12 crushed velvet flock, eight Cat's Eyes, adhesive remover, and one other thing but I can't remember what it is now!! If you love to create and save money you really need to head on over there!!

Copic Teacher

http://karriecook.blogspot.com/
This is the creative lady that teaches Copic classes at Pizzaz It. I take these classes once a month. I wish she had a button that I could put on my blog but until then this is her! Check out her blog and see the creative stuff she does!

May already??

Wow, I can't believe it is already May!! May is a busy month with my Mom's birthday, my birthday, and Mother's Day! Well I got a pretty good Mother's Day gift! My husband bought me a 10 1/2 foot pink light up fishing pole to fish for big catfish. Not 10 min. after he put it together and I threw it out I had a bite! This bite turned out to be a 41.1 lb. shovel head catfish that won me $150.00 in the weekly jackpot!! Talk about exciting!! So I leave you with the picture of my monster catch!!

Copic Certified!!

Ok, Ruthie and I drove three hours to Indianapolis to take the certification! She had only 3 hours of sleep the night before and I had only 2! The ride home was quite interesting. I think we were both sleep drunk!! We pulled over about three times on the way home. The first time was because my husband decided to tell me (after we already drove to Indianapolis) that he thinks my car is leaking oil. We pull over to check and the dipstick handle was broken off! It took us about 15 min. to pry the dipstick out only to find out that there was NO oil on it!! We also stopped to take pictures of this really cool candle store. We had so much fun that I am going to have to talk her into taking another day off of work so we can just drive around country roads to take pictures!!

Copic Class

Well I am counting down the days until we head for Indianapolis! I am so very excited! I hope I am good at this! On another note, I am still waiting for my Mom or Kelly to come over and help me get my craft room organized. I just hate not having my stuff in order but I am just not good at organization!! I need to work on my two page spread for our Sisterhood of the Traveling Scrapbook this Sunday and I pretty much have in mind what I am going to do but I just haven't put it on paper yet. I will probably be up Sat. night getting it done! Well I guess that is enough rambling for tonight. When I get my layout done I will post it. Thanks for reading my random thoughts!
